So, when I woke up my throat hurt, but then it started to feel a little better, and I regained the will to live, but then it got worse, and now every time I cough I want to kill myself with a rotary cutter because it feels like my throat is ripping loose from wherever it is supposed to be attached. (Update to the update: Every time I swallow, it’s like swallowing razor blades.)
Wah wah wah and boo fricking hoo. Whenever I was in this shape, Mom would set me up on the couch with a blanket and lots of pillows, and hot chocolate, and we would watch a little TV.
Now I have hungry chickens peeping “FEED ME!” and a couple of dogs who stare at me constantly, waiting for me to either feed them, or die so they can feast on my carcass.

Oh goody I just love chronicles. Hope you get better soon, but does that mean the end of the chronicles before they begin?

Kathi that is sounding really bad! I hope it’s not the mad bird flu, you know with all those chicks and such. Sorry, nothing is really funny when swallowing is painful!
I hope you get feeling MUCH better soon:)

Prescriptiion pain killers??? If you were my neighbor I’d let you borrow one of mine…..and I’d bring you home made chicken soup! (sorry chicks)!
Maybe Bjorn could come feed the chickens for you!

sorry to hear you are sick and alone and might die in the cold, dark, farm like the Donner party fiasco. But if you do, Bronco says to put gravy on your leg with your dying breath, because he really is a picky eater.
hope you get better soon.

Gosh Kathi, your mom was a lot nicer than mine was! My mom always said “If you can get up and get dressed then you can go to school/work/do your chores/etc.” I know how you’re feeling, and the thing that helped me the best was Nyquil. All the time. Who cares if you’re drowsy? Just don’t drive! Seriously though, I hope you feel better soon!

PS.
Bob is my very favorite name in the whole world…next to Lola! I am jealous that you have a brother named Bob.(I mean REALLY named Bob. I call mine Bob sometimes, but neither of them is really named Bob.)
I am the President of the “Kathi D’s-Brother-Bob Fan club!

oh boy do I understand!! I have had the cold/flu/crapola this weekend, and just got done nursing my children and wimpy husband over it as well. At least I wasn’t sick when I had to care for everyone else, not that its much of a consolation at the moment. I think I have officially been awake for 4 hours today. And its after midnight.
I have some big news over at my blog as well, so if you have a moment, pop on over and take a peek. Feel better soon! HUGS!
