My brother Bob

Let’s just move along, nothing to read here

by Kathi D on January 5, 2010

My Brother Bob reminded me that it’s the 2nd anniversary of this blog, more or less. He was flummoxed and nonplussed that I, his flighty little sister, could actually keep up with anything for that long. It’s true. I have nothing more to say to You People. Let’s look at the highlights of 2009 in [...]

You said it, brothers and sisters!

by Kathi D on August 12, 2009

I hope that all my visitors read the Brilliant Remarks every single day (and twice on Sundays) because the comments are, by actual measurement, 67% more brilliant than anything I have to say. There were many excellent suggestions for the preparation of squirrel, and I want to make sure nobody misses them. I’ll pause for [...]

Mom, monkey bread, and the scary can

by Kathi D on July 28, 2009

My mom died shortly before her birthday four years ago, otherwise she would have turned 91 yesterday. I’m a little ashamed to admit that I used canned biscuits to make a batch of monkey bread yesterday, on her birth anniversary, because among the many things Mom taught me was how to make a damn good [...]

It’s the day after a Special Day

by Kathi D on April 6, 2009

First, if Bob had his own blog, I could [...]

You said it, brother

by Kathi D on October 30, 2008

Here’s what my Actual Brother Bob had to say about my dehydrator fire: reminds me of when kathi nearly burned the house down and I got blamed for it. but I’m not bitter about it.    I believe he was talking about the incident I wrote about in this post, which certainly wasn’t my fault (exactly). [...]

Trying not to think

by Kathi D on August 25, 2008

As we sit here today keeping an eye on Bronco, who still won’t eat and isn’t being at all perky, I am trying to find mindless entertainments to keep my mind occupied. This website cracks me up regularly. Today I saw a cake that I will have to remember next April for My Brother Bob’s [...]
