What the heck?

How is it that we have moved out of the “noughts” and I haven’t even gotten used to being out of the 1990’s?
Here’s where we had our New Year’s Eve lunch. If it’s cold and snowing where you are, what can I say but nanner nanner nanner?

I hate to brag (not really), but it has been a looooooong time since a President would even consider sending us a holiday card. About, er, eight years or so.

Also, welcome to my Nightmare Before Christmas. Holiday baking is one of the many, many (many) things that I enjoy more in concept than in execution.

Getting holiday-ready

I don’t get why the major holidays have to be bunched up at the end of the year, leaving January through May pitiful and under-celebrated. Nevertheless, plans must be made. Thanksgiving is nearly wrapped up, what with the 2-hour turkey and all.

Halloween roundup

As you know, I am All About The People. And once The People spoke, demanding dogs in costumes, my mission was clear: Dress up dogs.

Trick or treat! Smell my feet!

This is the obligatory Dogs in Costumes for Halloween blog entry. Astute readers will note that these are last year’s recycled Dogs in Costumes photos. A family vote was taken about dressing up dogs and I lost, 4-1. The “no” votes had teeth.
