I don’t care whether it’s 2010 or 1910; adding “schm” to the front of a word is funny.
And now, my million-dollar Oscar reflections:
The Dude abides
I made it myself!
Does this dress make my butt look big?
It’s MY turn, dammit!
Really? No, really?
Winning is the best revenge
And the Emmy goes to
Say what you want about “movie people,” but for my money, the creative team that animated the perfectly preserved remains of the late Barbara Walters deserves all the credit. Sure, there were a few glitches, but there were times she almost seemed alive.

hollywood, schmollywood.
I love movies, but I thought the Oscars sucked last night. Sorry, just had to get that out.
I’m happy for the winners, and liked them all, but there was just something missing and I’m not sure what……
this post was the best part of my evening -
thanks! I needed that
I agree with Barb. The awards were definitely missing umph. I was looking forward to Baldwin and Martin hosting but they weren’t funny. Who were their writers? It’s always fun to see the dresses and Katherine Bigelow rocks. Girl power!!!
I was hoping BO would win something. after all, he did win that other prize.
Ha! Awesome.

What bet did Sarah J.P. lose to have to wear that grecian balloon thing?
I actually liked the Oscars this year. Though they could have used some Giant Inflatable Beavers – Vancouver has a few extra…
What oscars? Oh, those. They were on. Oh, last night you say. I must have missed that. I haven’t come out of the sewing cave in a while.
I loved the red snuggies/slanket thing. I think that I’ll come out with my own backwards robe and called it the “Schmanket”. Thanks for the idea!

This post was so much better than watching the Oscars. I’m glad I didn’t waste my time. I do love Sandra Bullock, however. She will play me in the movie of my life. You’re invited to the Premiere. It’s tentatively called, “Schmalison.” It, of course, is a comedy.

I didn’t watch the Oscars. It’s not really my cup of tea, but I feel “all caught up” now after reading this. I think this is all I needed to know
