Killer whales

You know, sometimes you just can’t face jumping through those hoops at work one more time.

Emotionally, I’m with the whale, but I can’t get behind his solution to the problem.

I’ve always wondered about the need to put these majestic creatures into tiny spaces (Hans compares this to keeping an elephant in our apartment). Surely we can’t be this starved for entertainment!

I agree – once a wild animal – always a wild animal.
It saddens me when we capture them for our own ends and entertainment.

I wonder if I’m the only person seeing this in the news and thinking back on all the Sheltie agility training classes I’ve seen this past year. Should I be worried about a Sheltie throwing their trainer against the wall after they decide that’s the last weave pole or jump they feel like doing today?

I say this tongue-in-cheek, but we as human beings seem to think we can train anything, from dogs to elephants to orcas. I’m glad we have more respect for other human beings… Ooh, it’s feeding time in my cubicle if I fix this website for my boss, gotta go.
