I’ve been working part time at a nearby kennel since September. Hammy and Marty, a couple of corgis, often stay there and it is sometimes my job to walk them. They look so cute and innocent in their kennel. Maybe even “sweet.” And then you take them out. And they go ballistic. And play. And wrap the extenda-leash around you three times. And pull your arms out of the sockets. And when you tug at Hammy’s leash because he’s eating poopsicles he flops over on his side, eyes closed, like he’s dead. And your heart stops for a minute because how are you going to explain this? And then one eye opens and looks at you like “Gotcha!” And he hops up and it starts all over again.
Yes. I love corgis.

That is so funny! Lucy does the exact same thing, but with the schnauzer. She thinks it’s my mom’s dog. I get all excited when she does it because I think it just proves that she’s gifted.

Absolutely adorable! I arrived home tonight (after cleaning 3 houses) to find Hans glued to the TV (just like your dogs) and watching the Olympic’s curling competition. I would have said he looked adorable too but then he asked me what I was cooking for dinner!
