Yikes, it’s December!

by Kathi D on December 7, 2009

I am beginning to wonder if my plan of hand-making all my presents and the gift bags for them might be in jeopardy. I am almost, yes, nearly ready to start making the 200+ Christmas cards that need to be sent soon. But hey! We have a Christmas tree!

Before beginning my handmade Christmas gifts and handmade gift bags for them and handmade Christmas cards, I needed to install a clothesline in my sewing studio. Because at the moment, I couldn’t think of another way to avoid making handmade Christmas gifts, handmade gift bags, and handmade Christmas cards. Besides, just look how useful it is to have a clothesline in the house.

Wow. You’re so much more organized than I am. I have all that sh*t, too, but it’s just in boxes here and there, and shoved on shelves in faraway closets. I want a clothesline now. Don’t even know why, but I’m sure my life will be improved.

Genius! Clothesline indoors! I think I need one upstairs, and downstairs in my studio!

Do you work well under pressure?

You are further than I am! We have yet to get a tree (no storage room for a fake one, hate the mess of a real one). BUT! This year we do have Christmas lights…..they’re still in the box, but I have them. That has to count for something, right?

Good luck making all your handmade gifts and cards and bags. You have 18 days to finish. Did that put any pressure on you? haha :)

Explain the hats to me. The dark ones are yours and Rick’s. Red is for Bronco, the King. Little ones are the pups. Are the bells for Bonnie? That’s sweet. I think I’ll hang something for our old Jazzie. The kids would like that. I love the clothesline! Very useful, although, something tells me it would be a hazard in my home.

I am putting a clothesline in every room of the house now.

I know! I’ve committed to knitting presents for all and should actually be committed. It’s so funny: I love to knit and look forward to knitting, but when I HAVE to, I procrastinate with other chores instead. Damn, I have to go knit now…

Best of luck on the craft manufacturing. I’d skip the Xmas cards – just twitter your greetings.

I am in love with your clothesline, but I think you should be hanging me from in so I can watch you in action. Do you possibly have time to make all of my handmade items for my holiday gift giving?

Wow. Good luck with all that hand-making in the next 14 days!
ps: I think you might need some more ornaments on that tree ;-)

I like the idea of your clothesline… but a really long one, and it’s on a pulley system which I can operate by a little remote controller. Oh, and I’m hanging on it like Tinkerbell… and I have a little wand and I make things, organize things, cook things, launder things, keep things tidy… all with a flick of my wand as I fly from room to room. Oh, and I have a coffee cup-holder on my clothesline too.

You are really just too crafty for words. Love the tree, love the clothesline. Guess we’ve got to admit it’s Christmastime around here, too…

Crap. I hate it when no one tells me it’s December until I find it in a blog.
