You know how, after a vacation is over, it’s so over that you can hardly even remember you went? Yeah, same with a staycation, it turns out. Or maybe it’s just my Swiss cheese brain that’s the problem. Anyway, here’s the rest of what I remember of our interlude. I hear your deep sighs of relief; don’t think I don’t.
Rick wanted me to be sure and mention one little thing about the NBA championship series. THE LAKERS WON! THE LAKERS WON! THE LAKERS WON!
Hey, the Lakers won!
Rick got a new wide-angle lens for his birthday and has been having some fun with it.
Oh look, it's some dogs, CLOSE-UP!
We had some human visitors. This guy came with the big dogs. He’s happier than he looks, honest.
Brooklyn is comfy, as usual.
A young friend of ours visited on his way home from college, after graduating with his master’s degree from (la-ti-da!) Stanford University. He stole Brooklyn’s heart.
Puppy love.
Hey! He did the same darn thing to Bonnie, 14 or so years ago. He’s a puppy heart stealer!
Just a boy and a dog.
OK, that’s it. No more staycation. Just the usual drudgery from now on. And misery. Drudgery, misery, and pain. You will love it. I promise.

I love the little-then-big boy and the dogs. Is that bad? Do you think he’s too young for me?
Sounds and looks like a grand time was had by all, welcome home! Wait, you didn’t actually leave.
I do love drudgery, misery, and pain! Bring it on! Without them, what would we have to blog about?
Melissa´s last blog ..the long, dreary path to eye surgery
Is it just me, or does anyone else let their dogs go naked at home ??
No tags and collars & stuff until they go out.
Maybe I’m just a hippie redneck nudist freedom lovin’ Momma.
(not that I go naked around the house myself.. oh PUKE !)
Bonnie looks so young and that guy on your couch looks miserable…thank you for claryifing that he is not.
Karen´s last blog ..
