You said it, brother!

My poor pitiful Brother Bob said:

I was worn out after hanging all that lead-based tinsel on the tree. as I recall, I usually got socks and underwear (all re-wrapped hand-me-downs) and you got dolls and toys. maybe that is when my holiday depression cycle started.

First, if Bob had his own blog, I could link to it, but he doesn’t, so I can’t. Second, Bob, don’t you understand that the folks were not rich! If they wasted spent money on stuff for you, I wouldn’t have gotten as much, silly! Also, did you eat quite a bit of that lead tinsel? It could explain a lot.

Seriously though, My Brother Bob almost never naps! He is a busy, industrious dude, even in his dotage. I still think he has my Carnation milk truck, though.

Poor Bob! He got hand me down underwear for Christmas and you’re still blaming him for taking your truck.

Ahhh those were the good ole days with lead tinsel and fiberglass snow. I remember NOT being able to handle the snow that sat so delicately underneath the nativity scene. You could wind up cutting yourself or get a case of the itches! NOT the nicest snow I’ve handled no doubt!!

It’s amazing that we all survived Christmas with what our parents exposed us to!!
