In the spirit of the season, I have decided not to rat out the puppies for every little thing they might have done to embarrass Bonnie and us at the San Ysidro Ranch. I am not going to talk about how they may have been a teensy bit rambunctious at times, momentarily forgetting their Hotel Manners.
I won’t even mention how one morning before I woke up, Rick was locked out twice with a puppy or two, and how then, later that same morning while Rick was working out, I may or may not have been locked out, barefoot, with two puppies who may or may not have found a way through the hedge surrounding our cottage and who may or may not have then tried to make a break for it until I might possibly have caught them both and hauled them up to the front desk at which point a staff member might have wearily cheerfully let us all back in to our cottage again.
Because it just wouldn’t be right to talk about things like that with Santa lurking about. Instead, I will leave you with what may or may not be the events leading up to our possible doggy Christmas photo.

Who could stay put in a place like that? I would be running around and possibly lifting my leg to everything in site!
I love the last pic! Looks like a Bonny sandwich:)
You personally make me want more dogs! Congratulations on you big 300, at least it’s not pounds!!!!
Congratulations. While I can understand your desire to mimic me, and while I hold no ulterior motives against you for doing so, eventually you will have your 600th post like I did `several weeks ago`.
On another note, being locked out of your cabin is exactly what you deserve. I bet it had nothing to do with BONNIE, the darling. The sweet innocent grand dam matriarch, over-looked and undermined. I can see her inside, vainly trying to open the lock without having opposing thumbs.
Please send her my love, as well as my address and a one way ticket to Indiana.
Poor Bonnie. You can actually feel her aggrivation coming through the computer. I love the first picture. Bonnie seems to think if she closes her eyes they will just go away.
That second picture cracks me up. Barkley is playing the “I’m not touching you” game and Bonnie is thinking, “I could snap your face right off.” Brooklyn just likes the pretty pretty flowers.
You must have impressive dog whispering skills. I can’t believe you got all three of them to sit pretty for a picture. This is so far beneath Lucy. I could never get her to sit like that for a picture. Kudos!
I can’t believe how those pups have sprouted! They are so cute! Congrats on 300!!
Oh I want to cry…I had a sheltie and she was the best dog ever. Now I have a Terrier chihuahua mix and a Chihuahua terrier mix (as per the vet). Either way neither one listens ….they are so independent. That does it, I’ll show them I’ll get another Sheltie!
Blessings,
Terisa
Terisa’s last blog post..50′s the new 30
Congrats on your 300th post! It sounds like you got into more trouble than the dogs.
That last picture is perfect!
Heather’s last blog post..It’s hard to see the bright side if your eyes are closed
