The Eagles Have Landed

by Kathi D on September 5, 2008

I can’t form a coherent thought due to extreme lack of sleep (which will no doubt continue for a while). The puppies seem to have sustained no trauma from their long trip yesterday. We have already abused them by giving them baths and using the blow drier on them late last night. They were clean and shiny when they arrived at the airport, but they needed a bath after the car trip.

And now, the girl:

Brooklyn
Brooklyn

and the boy:

Barkley

The big sister:

Bonnie
Bonnie

and the puppies saying, “Hey, you remind us of somebody at home!”

Reactions to photos:
You and pups – “awwww”
Brooklyn – “awww. awww”
Barclay – “ohhh, awww”
Bonnie – “YAY Bonnie”
Brooklyn and Barclay and Bonnie – out-loud giggle

Fantastic! Oh, and are YOU going to be busy. Rick (having named them) has now earned the right to just relax.

Awww so sweet! And so happy for you and Rick. They just couldn’t be any cuter!

Oops! I spelled Barkley’s name incorrectly. Too concerned with cuteness to worry about spellin’ .

Sorry Barks!

They are adorable and certainly worth losing sleep over! What does Bonnie think of them? Hopefully she is loving the company and bossing the youngen’s around!! Can’t wait to hear more!!

I could eat them up. They are precious. How is Bonnie handling them? Makes me want to go out and get myself a couple of puppies. Then I remember why I haven’t…Piper is not a fan. Damn her.

Oh, if only ALL doggies could have a home with people like you and Rick. They are blessed and deservedly so. So are you and Rick.

(I’m not sure about Bonnie just yet. The votes aren’t in.)

Hi KathiD- I’m new to your blog, having clicked your name after reading your outrage about comments by a right-wing blogger whom I won’t name. I just knew I’d like you! Gorgeous pups, what an adventure you have ahead of you. I’ll go subscribe now.

cutest little puppies ever! I like the B theme with the names and that last picture of them following Bonnie is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!
