My brother Bob has always been far ahead of his time. I well remember the day, he was about 8 years old, I think, when he said, “Mama, someday I want to be an Olympic athlete. I want to be a synchronized diver.”
Alas, it was not to be. If only he had been born a few decades later.

Just weird. But at least the flowing ribbon dancers are gone (or are they?).

Are you calling My Brother Bob gay? (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)
I believe the ribbon dancers might still make an appearance. Gird yourself.

I was secretly hoping that they had combined the two sports. You know, the divers twirling ribbons all the way down . . . to the empty pool.
